Emily has been with DPA since 2011. Before pursuing commercial real estate and joining the team as a Broker and Marketing Manager, Emily gained extensive experience in sales, advertising, and marketing while working in medical sales.
Since joining DPA, Emily has transitioned to leading the majority of DPA’s leasing transactions. She loves working proactively with clients — from finding the perfect space for their small business, to tailoring scalable solutions to reach their real estate goals.
Notable leasing assignments include:
1. Grove Arcade project leasing Class A mixed-use complex in the heart of downtown Asheville totaling 250,000 SF
2. Shopping Center project leasing: Franklin Commons (32,000 SF), Asheville Market (130,000 SF), Russ Plaza (140,000 SF), Regent Park (15,000), Hometrust Plaza (24,000 SF)
3. Notable Leases – Asheville Proper, Huli Sues, Wedge Brewing, Edward Jones, Everyday Oil
Emily is currently serving as the President of the WNC Commercial Investment Realtors Association (CIRA), a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, a member of KNOW Women Asheville, and is currently completing coursework for the honored CCIM designation. Additionally, Emily has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker since 2018.
Born at a very young age in Burlington, NC, Emily is a Communications graduate from Charlotte, NC and former NBA Cheerleader. A resident of Asheville since 2010, she has a strong passion for supporting local businesses and non-profit organizations.
In her free time, Emily loves exploring new towns, checking out the hottest local nightlife and restaurants, breaking in dance floors, and spending time on the water with family and friends. Some say she likes her puns intended and her karaoke mics hot.
